Custom Cabinetry

Cabinetry, drawn into the architecture.

Kitchens, libraries, dressing rooms, and full installations — designed alongside your architect and built in our Geneva studio.

Most cabinetry is bought. Stratum cabinetry is designed.

The proposition
How We Work

We work alongside architects, interior designers, and homeowners who want their kitchen, library, or dressing room to belong to the room — built around its proportions, materials, and light, rather than dropped into it from a catalogue.

Every project begins with a conversation about how the space is actually used: where the light falls, where the eye lands, where the hands reach. From there, we develop drawings, finishes, and details unique to the project. Construction happens in our Geneva studio, with the same craftsmanship and finish quality as our collection pieces.

Projects typically range from a single kitchen or library wall to full apartment installations. We work in walnut, oak, maple, and other exotic veneers; with brass, blackened steel, and brushed nickel hardware. Specifications are developed in dialogue with you and your architect.

Photorealistic cabinetry rendering
Visualized Before Built

Photorealistic 3D, before a piece of wood is cut.

We've developed our own design tools specifically for cabinetry work. Every dimension, finish, hardware choice, and lighting condition is rendered to a level rarely seen in custom cabinetry. Decisions are made on what the room will actually look like, not on imagination.

The Process

From first conversation to finished room.

A Stratum cabinetry project takes four to nine months from inquiry to installation, depending on scope. Throughout, you work directly with the studio — no salespeople, no intermediaries.

01
Conversation

You share your project, space, and timeline. We meet at our Geneva studio or your project site to walk through the space, the use case, and your design references.

02
Design & 3D

We develop drawings, build out your project in our 3D design environment, propose materials and finishes, and provide a quote.

03
Fabrication

Pieces are built in our Geneva studio. You receive milestone updates and progress photography throughout production.

04
Installation

Our team installs on site. Most installations take one to two weeks, depending on scope. We stay on-call through the punch list, and we welcome revisions or design tweaks until the final result is right.
