The site is not a shop
Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer, and no contract is formed by using it. Prices shown as "From CHF …" are indicative starting prices for a piece in a base configuration. They do not include customisation, materials beyond the base specification, delivery, installation, or VAT unless expressly stated.
A commission becomes binding only once we have issued a written quotation and you have accepted it in writing. That quotation, together with any terms attached to it, governs the work — not this page.
Made to order
Every piece is made to order in our Geneva studio. Wood is a natural material: grain, figure and colour vary between pieces, and between a finished piece and the photographs on this site. Such variation is a characteristic of the work, not a defect. Photographs, renderings and configurator images are illustrative. Dimensions, finishes and lead times stated on the site are indicative and are confirmed in the written quotation.
Intellectual property
The Stratum name and logo, our designs, and the text, photographs, video and other content on this site are owned by us or used with permission. You may view the site and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not otherwise copy, republish, or commercially exploit the content, and you may not use our designs, drawings or images to manufacture or have manufactured any piece.
External links
The site links to and embeds third-party content, including Instagram, our design configurator, and partner websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep the site available and its content accurate, but we do not guarantee either. The site is provided on an "as is" basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury, for gross negligence, or for wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Geneva, Switzerland, have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights available to you as a consumer in your place of residence.
